I came across this project while doing a Google search for composition opportunities. I came across quite a few requests from independent video game developer forums and thought, "Why not?" It would be great experience and a chance to diversify my portfolio, as well as work on something fun and exciting. I've been working on the project for about a month now and its helped me work on my compositional process as well as experiment with more electronic styles of music creation.
The game itself is quite interesting. It is an MMORTS (for you non-gamers: don't worry about it). The artwork is incredible and the alpha is really close to being done. At this point I can't give too much information as it is still under development and we're hoping to get funding for the project.
